The designs in this book are clean and simple and very wearable in the U.S. It’s not super unique or fancy, but that’s precisely why it is so great. I just love how it contains so many designs for skirts and blouses that I would be able to wear to work. I plan to use many of the patterns in the suggested linen for summer, but I’m sure they will also work beautifully with wool for the cooler months. As an aside, I don’t know if my reviews will be helpful to anyone as I’m not sure if there are many other native English speakers who are interested in purchasing Japanese sewing books and are able to read them, but in case there are I’ll leave this message in English.
